Excellent and authentic South Indian food. Fantastic Mysore Masala Dosa and Nethili fry, but both were available only for a limited period. Hope they continue them in the regular menu. Delicious Ambur Briyani as well!

The service was great. Food is worth trying. Ambur biryani is not authentic, but it still tastes good. Idiyappam was great, although slightly overcooked.

I visited again today , the food was so good . We ordered chicken 65 biryani and it was sooo good and something more good than that was the person who served us that was jasna😊

Stopped by this restaurant to try some South Indian cuisine and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the idli and the rava masala dosa— the idli was soft and fluffy, and the dosa was cooked to perfection. The accompaniments, including coconut chutney, tomato chutney, and lentil sambar, were absolutely delightful and complemented the dishes beautifully. We finished the meal with masala chai, which was the perfect ending. A great experience overall. Thank you, Team Southern Spices

Southern Spice offers authentic South Indian flavours with rich aromas and perfectly balanced spices. The dosas were crisp, the curries were flavourful, and the service was warm and attentive. A great place for anyone craving traditional South Indian food.

The food is tasty, the dosas are delicious, very crispy and a good size. The prices are reasonable. I asked if I could add an egg on top of my potato-stuffed dosa (as I saw there was a dosa with egg) but they told me it wasn’t possible, so I was a bit dissappointed. The waitresses are lovely and attentive. Avoid the bathroom, it is filthy. Other than that, a great place to eat at.

Had dinner at Southern Spices near Sandford, and it was a really good experience overall. We ordered the chili parotta for appetizer and dosa, vada sambar and lemon rice for mains. Everything was flavorful and comforting, just like good South Indian food should be. 🍛 Chutney and sambar could be better but no complaints neither exceptional.
The service was great, prices were very reasonable, and the food came out fresh and tasty. No complaints at all just good food and a relaxed, friendly vibe.

Great food. Loved the chilli chicken and disaster and kothamali chicken. Second time here. Most of the menu is gluten free.

You can smell the aromas from 100m away as you approach! Second time having dosa; amazing! Whole family went, and with an Indian friend who proclaimed the flavours were authentic South Indian. Lovely staff, great food.

Amazing authentic South Indian food in South Dublin. Loved the taste, service, and ambiance. Butter Milk is a must try, refreshing and authentic.
